We’d like to inform you about an upcoming change to the Google Apps Device Policy app that impacts users in your domains. All Android users in your organization need to upgrade to the latest version of Google Apps Device Policy within 30 days. This ensures that the latest security policies are enforced on your users' Android devices. Google will enforce this policy for all major releases and critical fixes.
Users who have not upgraded to the latest version of Google Apps Device Policy within 30 days will not have the latest security features and may be blocked from syncing Google Apps data with their device (like Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts). Please instruct your users to upgrade to the latest version of the app and enable the app to auto-update.
