New Chinese Spam E-mails Update

It seems there has been a flush of Chinese Characters Spam that is getting past Postini recently brought up to our attention by some of our clients.

Besides submitting samples to Postini, we found that for those that turned on SPF check, the spam has stopped, although we cannot be sure this is 100% accurate since some of the spam might not contain any SPF records at all, it should at least help to screen out a large part of such e-mails.

Another more drastic measure, for example, would be to create a content filter to screen out e-mails containing chinese characters in the subject line.
