Successful Receipt of Online Submission.... Spam Outbreak

We have identified a series of spam messages with a similar topic to above that has hit Postini today. We have already submitted samples to Google to help the engineers update their filters. We will update this entry when the filters have been updated.

There is an outage today with Postini System 200. Google has already acknowledged the issue and is working on resolving it:

Description:
This morning (UTC) we have noticed a spike in errors served by Postini System 200 affecting both inbound and outbound mail flow.

Affected message are deferred by Postini servers with error "421 Server busy, try again later". Since this is a temporary error, the sender should retry to send affected messages later and messages should be delivered. However, recipients would still notice delivery delays.

Our specialised teams are still investigating this occurrence. Updates will be provided as soon as possible

How to diagnose:
1 - Sending / Receiving messages through Postini outbound/inbound servers
2 - Postini defers message with error "421 Server busy, try again later"
3 - Sender receives NDR
