Today, it seems that most websites ask you to log in, and managing and remembering your passwords can be difficult sometimes. Browsers offer you the option to save your credentials, but you need to be careful especially when using Google Chrome. Chrome has made it easy for you to sync your settings and passwords in between devices that you use.
Many have discovered that Google Chrome doesn't provide any protection to the passwords it stores. It very easy for anyone to see the passwords you have stored in plain text. All you need to do is:
1- Go to settings.
2- Show Advance settings.
3- Manage saved passwords.
4- Select the password and click on show.
5- You will see your stored password in plain clear text.
6- Anyone else that may have access to your unprotected machine can also see the passwords.
7- If someone has your Google password, they can then login as you using any machine, sync your passwords down to the browser and have access to all of your passwords that you have stored in the browser for any site.
We highly recommend not storing password information in Chrome, especially if you are syncing Chrome between different devices. Until the time that they offer some sort of protection for passwords stored in the browser.

Hoy en día, la mayoría de sitios en internet nos pide nos registremos y por ende terminamos creando un usuario y contraseña, pero estar nosotros recordando todas las contraseñas puede llegar hacer una tarea difícil. Los navegadores web ofrecen la opción de guardar sus credenciales, pero hay que tener mucho, en especial cuando utilizamos Google Chrome. Chrome nos facilita a la hora de sincronizar las configuraciones y contraseñas entre los diferentes dispositivos que utilizamos.
Muchos han descubierto que Google Chrome no provee ninguna protección a la hora de salvar las contraseñas. Es sumamente sencillo para cualquiera tener acceso a las contraseñas que usted tiene almacenadas, todo lo que se necesita hacer es:
1- Ir a configuración.
2- Mostrar opciones avanzadas.
3- Administrar contraseñas guardadas.
4- Seleccione la contraseña y haz click en mostrar.
5- Ud podrá ver su contraseña guardada en pleno texto.
Nosotros recomendamos no almacenar sus contraseñas en Chrome, especialmente si se esta sincronizando con los diferentes dispositivos. Hasta que llegue el momento en el cual se ofrezca una protección para las contraseñas guardadas en el navegador.
